Vienna Airport ↔ Brno private transfer - fixed fare, door to door

Here’s Brno’s open secret: its real airport is in another country. Vienna’s Schwechat airport has the flights, and Brno has no direct rail link to it. Matt drives this road every week - an insured, English-speaking driver who meets you in the arrivals hall and delivers you to your Brno address in about two hours.

Your options compared

Option Time door to door Price Comfort
Bus + city transport 2.5-3.5 h 850-1 500 CZK (≈ €34-61) pp Fixed timetable, luggage hauling, station transfers
Train (via Vienna Hbf) 3 h+ 970-1 730 CZK (≈ €39-70) pp Two changes with bags
Matt, door to door ≈ 2 h 4 200 CZK (≈ €170), fixed, per car Met in arrivals, no changes, no waiting

Honest note: travelling alone with a backpack and no schedule? The bus is the budget pick. But the fare above is per person - from three people, the car usually costs the same or less than the tickets, takes half the time, and nobody hauls a suitcase across a station.

“Sometimes the best part of a vacation is not having to worry about how to get from A to B.” - that’s the whole idea. Matt has driven families from Český Krumlov to Vienna hotels, commuters to Schwechat before sunrise, and everyone in between.

Make it a mini-tour

Matt is a licensed guide, not just a driver - so a transfer can pick up a stop you'd otherwise drive straight past:

  • Mikulov - a fairy-tale wine town under a chalk cliff, barely off the route
  • Lednice-Valtice - UNESCO château gardens between the border and Brno
  • The lavender farm at Starovičky (June-July), or a winery tasting for your passengers

Say the word when booking. The guiding is included - extra time is charged at the standard waiting rate (420 CZK / hour, ≈ €17), plus anything you taste or enter.

What's included

  • Meet & greet in the arrivals hall with a name sign
  • Flight tracking - delayed flight, adjusted pickup, no stress
  • 60 minutes of free waiting after landing
  • Baby & booster seats free on request
  • Luggage included
  • Card payment and invoice
  • Pets welcome

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly do we meet at the airport?

In the arrivals hall, right after you exit - Matt holds a sign with your name.

We land at 23:40. Is that a problem?

No. Night arrivals cost the same as daytime. Book ahead and the car is waiting.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes - a supermarket stop is free, and a stop in Mikulov wine country can turn the transfer into a day to remember. Ask when booking.

Do you do the return trip too?

Of course - booking both directions guarantees your return slot, and same-day returns can get a custom discount.

What's the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
